Angie Eckman will serve as President of the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce for 2020. She is also Program Founder for Leadership Youngsville. This is Angie’s seventh year serving on the chamber board of directors. She has served as Vice President in 2019, Past President in 2018, President 2014 – 2017 and Marketing & Fundraising Co-Chair in 2013. She also created Vision 2020 for the Youngsville Chamber back in 2013. Angie owns and operates ADWORX, an advertising, marketing and public relations firm. Angie recently learned she was an award recipient of the 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards as Planners & Industry Professionals to Watch from SportsEvents Magazine, which is a national sports publication. In April of 2014, ADWORX was awarded Outstanding Chamber Business of the Year. Angie was also featured as the cover and feature story for FACE Magazine in their June/July 2015 issue and spotlighted for her community activism.
Eckman stated, “Serving the community through the chamber is a tremendous honor and I’m excited to work with a great team who will bring their skills and expertise to our community. The Youngsville Chamber of Commerce is on the cusp of experiencing tremendous growth and expansion. The success of their first Leadership Youngsville program, as well as the many local and national sports tournaments, including a Beach Volleyball complex coming to the Youngsville Sports Complex, a new Municipal Complex, and the overall growth and expansion of the City of Youngsville is a direct correlation of the increase in economic development and growth within the chamber and the city.”
Angie has 18 years of corporate marketing experience and brings a wealth of knowledge to our Chamber board. She has a proven track record of building sales through local store marketing initiatives.
Angie pours her passion into her work and as a result, she has consistently increased sales, built brand awareness and exceeded clients’ expectations. Her outgoing personality and determination to succeed, have carried Angie a long way in her career and you will see those qualities shine in her work.
Angie has a bachelor’s degree from UL Lafayette in Mass Communication, specializing in Media Advertising and is very passionate about marketing the community. She also maintains the Chamber’s social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube accounts. ADWORX also designed and continues to maintain the Chamber’s website. Her company is responsible for all the advertising, marketing, PR, social media and website maintenance for the City of Youngsville, the Youngsville Sports Complex and also works with the Youngsville Police Dept. as needed. She also manages sponsorship sales at the Sports Complex. ADWORX is also a proud founding sponsor at the Youngsville Sports Complex.
Angie previously volunteered her time serving three years on the UL Lafayette Alumni Council. She also served a three year term on the Better Business Bureau of Acadiana Board of Directors. ADWORX is also a member of One Acadiana, Better Business Bureau of Acadiana, UL Lafayette Alumni Association and Ragin’ Cajun Athletic Foundation. Angie is married to Jason Eckman and they live in Youngsville.
